Maninka, Mandinka, Malinke, etc. The dialect spoken there was most similar to the dialect spoken in Guinea, although it seemed to be quite influenced by Krio.

This manual discusses grammar, vocabulary and cultural elements of the language, maninka kang. The approach is dialogue-based, with each chapter centered on a particular situation and the sort of conversation that might happen. Chapters include greetings, introductions, talking about family, farming, buying and selling, food, traveling, sickness and health, gift giving and Islam.
